About Audelo
Audelo is operated by Audelo Pty Ltd (ABN 15 699 618 838, ACN 699 618 838), an Australian company. Audelo provides AI-powered voice agent services to businesses worldwide. When you call a business using Audelo, the business you are calling is the data controller responsible for your information. Audelo acts as a data processor, handling the technical infrastructure to deliver the service securely and in compliance with applicable privacy laws.
What We Collect on a Call
When you make a call to a business using Audelo, we collect:
- Phone number (caller ID) — The number from which you are calling
- Audio recording — The complete conversation, which is transcribed in real time for accuracy
- Voluntarily shared information — Any details you provide during the call, such as your name, address, preferred appointment time, product enquiries, or booking preferences
- Metadata — Call duration, timestamp, and status (connected, missed, transferred, etc.)
Why We Collect It
Audelo collects this information to:
- Understand your request and respond appropriately
- Process bookings, appointments, or lead information
- Send you confirmation messages (SMS, email) if the business arranges this
- Maintain accurate transcripts and call summaries for the business
- Improve service quality through aggregate, de-identified analytics
- Comply with legal obligations
How Long We Keep It
- Audio recordings — Retained for 30 days, then deleted unless legally required to retain or the business has requested a longer retention period
- Transcripts and summaries — Retained for 13 months to allow the business time to review, export, and archive
- Booking records — Retained according to the business's own records policy, typically aligned with appointment/order fulfillment
- Call metadata — Retained for billing and analytics purposes; older entries are aggregated and de-identified
Who Can See It
Your call information is accessible to:
- The business you called — Your data is stored in their Audelo account and is visible to their authorized team members (agents, managers, supervisors)
- Audelo as processor — Under data processing agreements compliant with privacy law, Audelo accesses call data only to deliver the service, perform maintenance, and comply with law
- AI processing partner (US-based) — Real-time voice processing occurs through a sub-processor. Audio is sent in-transit only; the partner does not store your conversation long-term
- Third-party integrations — If the business connects booking or calendar systems (e.g., Calendly, Google Calendar, HubSpot, Salesforce), booking details are shared with those platforms per your interaction
Audelo never sells your data to marketers, data brokers, or third parties outside those listed above. We do not use your information for targeted advertising.
SMS & Text Messaging
When you speak with one of our AI voice agents, the agent may offer to send you a text message (SMS) — for example, a booking confirmation, an appointment detail, a callback number, or a link you asked for during the call. We send these messages only after you verbally agree during the call. We do not text you unless you ask us to.
- Message frequency — Messages are transactional and are sent only when you request information during a call. There is no recurring or scheduled messaging, and we do not send marketing or promotional texts. You typically receive one message per request.
- Message & data rates — Msg & data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Opt-out — You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; reply HELP for help. After you reply STOP, we will not send you any further messages from that number.
- No sharing for marketing — We do not share or sell your mobile phone number, or your SMS consent, with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is used solely to deliver the transactional message you requested.
For questions about a message you received, contact us using the details in the Contact section below.

Transparency: The business you call can configure their AI agent to proactively disclose that you are speaking with an AI. If you are unsure whether you are speaking with a person or AI, ask the agent directly — they will tell you truthfully.
Quality Improvement: Audelo may use recordings of calls (with your information de-identified where possible) to improve overall service quality, train agents, and refine responses. This is done in aggregate and does not profile you individually for marketing.
